Redemption In A Fund

Redemption In A Fund

If a Vintage DAO fund sets up Redemption, then as an Investor of the fund, you can redeem part or even all of the deposit within the Redemption period of the fund.

Understand Redemption & Redemption Fee

You can check whether it is currently in the Redemption cycle on the homepage of Vintage DAO. You can also infer it through the Redemption settings of the respective fund. Additionally, you need to understand the Redemption Fee settings of the fund. If the fund has set a Redemption Fee, then you will need to pay a certain percentage as a redemption fee for each redemption. This means that the actual redemption amount you receive each time = the redemption amount you requested - the redemption fee.

How To Redeem

When a Vintage DAO fund enters the Redemption Period, as an Investor of the fund, you can redeem the deposit on the DAO's homepage.

All you need is:

  1. Find the Deposit & Withdraw module on the homepage.
  2. Click Withdraw.
  3. Then enter the amount you wish to redeem in the pop-up box.
  4. Confirm that the amount is correct and click Withdraw again. After the wallet transaction is confirmed, the redemption is successful.

The amount received after redemption is equal to the amount applied for redemption minus the redemption fee. You can refer to Redemption for more details.
