The only way to get goRICE is to lock your RICE tokens. Check the goRICE section for a detailed introduction about goRICE.

When you lock your RICE tokens for governomy, you will receive goRICE based on the lock duration and the amount locked. Locking is not reversible and goRICE tokens are non-transferable. If you decides to lock your RICE tokens, you will only be able to reclaim the RICE tokens after the lock duration has ended.

Additionally, you cannot have multiple locks with different expiry dates. However, a lock can be extended, or additional RICE can be added to it at any time.

Lock RICE

You can use the RICE Locker on the Governomy homepage to lock your RICE tokens.

You must specify the amount of RICE you wish to lock and your preferred lock duration. The minimum lock period is 3 months, while the maximum is 12 months. The amount of goRICE linearly decays over time, reaching 0 when the lock duration ends.

Increase Amount

If you have already locked some RICE and now wish to lock more RICE but keep the locking duration, you can use Increase Amount to do this.

Increase Lock

If you have already locked some RICE and wish to extend the locking duration while keeping the same quantity of RICE locked, you can use Increase Lock to do this.

Unlock RICE

If you have already locked some RICE, you can check its unlocking progress in the Lock State. If your lock duration has ended, you can use it to unlock your RICE.
